/Project's main goal
This project was about validating the "close friends" feature engagement among Argentinean teenagers between the ages 16-21.
The test of the "close friends" feature was aimed to evaluate the value proposition (concept), usability and its comprehension.
/The research process
I was in charge of both research ops and execution: managed the recruiting process, designed the interview guide and usability test, recorded the sessions and streamed it to the Instagram's team. When testing the feature's usability, I observed the variations of heuristic standards, taking into consideration visual and textual communications, design aesthetics and comprehension, findability, navigation flow, and functionality.
The deliverable was a top line report with in-depth insights on the users' perceptions and behaviors.
